   January 21-23, 2011 The event. Insulindependence is pulling out all the stops in its third year as an Official Charity of the Tri-City Medical Center Carlsbad Marathon. More than 100 people from the local and national diabetes communities will gather for this annual celebration in sunny Southern California. Weekend events hosted by Insulindependence are sure to bring you back for more in 2012... The races. Courses run along the Pacific Coast Highway, where athletes can expect sunshine and a refreshing sea breeze for most of their race. With marathon, half marathon, and kids 1-mile options, there's something for anyone wishing to be involved! The team. As the old adage says, "Its about the journey, not the destination." So it is for Glucomotive Fundraising teams. Your journey will begin months before the race weekend, as you train with an Insulindependence Running Coach...and of course, with your teamates. The team will be united by a common desire to revolutionize diabetes management, and remains open to anyone. The cause. Team Fundraising with Glucomotive is a great way for anyone to join Insulindependence in its effort to revolutionize diabetes management. Funds raised are used to develop and expand Insulindependence's educational fitness programs for people with diabetes.
